There was an interesting discussion that took place after last nights race that had to do with the start. The question discussed was, when did a leward right of way boat have the rights to continue to sail above a close hauled course after the starting gun in order to shut out a windward boats ability to sail inside the pin. I think a quick review of the rules are warranted for all sailors including myself.
